Delphos Gas Can — Vintage

Description A charming piece of American fuel history: a Delphos gas can from the mid-20th century. This steel can features the classic rounded-shoulder design with embossed Delphos branding and original paint remnants. Signs of honest age—surface rust, patina, and a few small dings—give it authentic character rather than detract. The spout is intact though aged. Measures approximately 12" tall by 9" wide. Holds decorative value more than reliable storage use.

Condition

  • Structural: sound with no major holes or leaks noted (sold as decorative).

  • Surface: original paint largely worn; even patina and surface rust.

  • Fittings: original spout and handle present but show corrosion; cap condition varies.

  • Use: for display only unless fully restored and pressure-tested.
